Chiropractic for Fussy Babies in St. Petersburg
If your baby is crying a lot, struggling to settle, or seems uncomfortable no matter what you try, you're not alone. It's one of the most common reasons families in St. Pete reach out to us, and it can leave parents feeling exhausted and unsure where to turn.
WHAT PARENTS OFTEN NOTICE
Every baby is different, but families often tell us their baby:
Cries for long stretches and is hard to soothe
Seems tense, stiff, or arches their back
Struggles to sleep for more than short stretches
Has trouble latching or prefers one side while feeding
Spits up often or seems uncomfortable after eating
WHY THE NERVOUS SYSTEM MATTERS
Your baby's nervous system controls how they sleep, digest, feed, and settle. Birth asks a lot of a tiny body, whether it was quick, long, assisted, or by cesarean. Sometimes that early stress can leave a baby's nervous system stuck in a more alert, fight or flight state, which can make it harder for them to rest and digest.
Our approach looks at how your baby's nervous system is handling stress and gently supports their body in shifting toward rest, digest, and regulate.
WHAT CARE LOOKS LIKE FOR BABIES
Newborn adjustments are nothing like what most people picture. We use about the pressure of a gentle fingertip, and you hold or stay right beside your baby the whole time.
Every new patient starts with a conversation about your baby's birth story, feeding, sleep, and what you're noticing at home, along with gentle INSiGHT scans that are non-invasive and use no radiation. From there, we walk you through what we found and what care could look like.
YOU DON'T HAVE TO FIGURE IT OUT ALONE
We work alongside lactation consultants, myofunctional therapists, and other trusted St. Pete providers, and we're always happy to connect you with the right support. We also recommend keeping your pediatrician in the loop, and reaching out to them right away if your baby has a fever, isn't feeding, or something feels seriously off.
